you know cam, had anyone replied when i asked, we may have been able to go to kingston. but the show is now sold out & has been for awhile, so it's a no go. i wanted to go more for christina (the stars was just a plus/i've seen them twice already). oh well.

Hey guys, Photobucket now has a blogger function, it didn't publsih nicely

I had a pretty good weekend. Friday was nice seeing so many of you. The food was good and it has been awhile since we all have talked. Saturday was spent pretty much watching the snow fall and Dead Like Me. Rach, I'm on eppisode 5 now.

Metric was great last nite. Combat Baby really had the whole place dancing but the slower songs I think were the real gems.

Crassy, thanks for coming. I didn't call about the stars show. I kinda know in my heart that going out on thursday nite will likely burn me out seeing I have hockey on wednesday. I will
check anyways. Galine, are u going to kingston? would u rather see them in hamilton, do you know if tickets are still on sale??

Looks like something is about to go down in White Stripes world. I got a message from a friend who had heard a bit of something. Something massive and likely to centre around NYC. hymmmmm the New Album, Surprise Show??

this sounds like a cool fest in brampton.

i miss rehearsing for those jude plays. i remember cgal was one of the brothers, and cynthia was jacob and crissandra, rhea and i were dancers...so fuuun. i remember assignment: earth and robin hood, too. it sucks we didn't get to do one in gr. 8 'cause mr. harding retired.

captured a taxi despite all the rain
we drove in silence across pont champlain
and all of that time you thought i was sad
i was trying to remember your name...

...live through this and you won't look back...

...i'm not sorry i met you
i'm not sorry it's over
i'm not sorry there's nothing to save

LOVE IT.

come, cgal! you can see it again!

kingston has been getting some great shows. rockcrew.ca posts about most of them. slean is playing on march 3rd and metric has a show coming up.

i want to see her in TO on the 17th.

howdy, folks!
(oh the terminology of lawr!)
cgal here, just following in the footsteps of the c-chang & saying hello & how are you my loves? it's snowing out & it's magical; last night i found myself running around my street at midnight making a mess of the roads. i get such a thrill seeing my footprints in freshly fallen snow.

so, i've an idea a brewing: seeing that christina is going away (holds back tears) & will not be back in mississauga until march, who wants to road trip it to kingston to see her?! not only can we visit the ever so genius christina, we can also, oh, i don't know, sayyyyy, take in a stars show? become cool like the k-town kids at their grad club & show them the ways of the mississaugians (that sounds so bad). it'll be an ol'fashioned car pool, all pitch in for expenses & awayyyy we go into the night. anybody in? oh, &this would be the 28th of january i do believe. sounds like a good idea to me!! oh, memories of the joseph play! oh, how only 3 people on here will know what i mean! (crissy, rachie, christina: please know what i'm talking about? hahaa)

other than fun in the snow, i've been ditching school, drinking far too much coffee, knitting loads & sleeping in. life can be good (don't wake me, i plan on sleeping in).

rach, i've been doing my prac at streetsville secondary. i'm studying to be a high school teacher, so unfortunately, no, i haven't run into your friend.
btw, why is your friend teaching different grades during the same year in elementary school and why are there semesters?! or is she still doing her prac?
oh, and i'm gonna be in guatemala for 3 weeks. i think i head there the last week of feb. and come back right before march break.

i'm getting stressed out over here this week. mainly 'cause i haven't been on top of things. i need to develop better focusing strategies!!

omg guatemala! i'm so glad to hear you say that... you inspiration, you! good luck and all that junk, WATCH OUT GUATEMALA! xtina's on your turf. ;) just say when and we'll share a drink before you go and abandon us. i'm proud of you. *tear

i've been making up new year's resolutions here and there and they seem to be working out! and not working out! it's a great system.

wow,
it's hard to guess what the more shocking news is;
stina to Guatemala or marc's path to Jedi XP.

stina, your at streetsville?
you could walk here for lunch and have time left over =p
i thought the bss tix would go fast... i have to call tm to see if febs slean tickets are sold out or not.

guys check out our hullo.blogspot page. the hit map shows we are receiving hits from all across canada, a high concentration from europe, and hits from a few other global places. chances are they are just google hits on key words, or were being stalked by global cyber friends.
anyways, today i big up the BC reading crew ;)

my scheduale is messed,

hullo ppl,

i've kind of been MIA for a while, huh?

been doing my practicum at streetsville and going to tedious classes in k-town. i'm doing my alt prac in guatemala in feb/march. i'm excited/nervous about that and starting to prep for it. currently i'm in k-town--classes started on monday. it's damned cold here.

what else...i feel like i'm in a state of limbo. haven't been very productive lately and i've been feeling kinda numb. hopefully that'll change. maybe it's the weather. or maybe not.

during the holidays i saw some ppl from queen's who've since moved on (they all seem to be on the cusp of something better), but barely any of you. my parents celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. spent new year's with my bro at his new townhouse.

there are tons of shows coming to k-town this month and next, and i'll probably be broke when i return to mississauga.

btw, cam--the broken tsunami scene show is already sold out. tix were gone in a day (yesterday).

Hey guys,
I hope you all had a good hollidays. I don't think I saw enough of you guys.

Their is a Broken Social Scene tsunami benefit concert jan29th at Lee's Palace, 30$

Sarah Slean is playing in Hamilton Feb15th, 15$ or so for tickets :)
--> I have been trying to see if I can get some Slean on vinyl, it just hasn't been made yet.

I'm going to have another Godchild next month. I'l post more on that when I know what's going on.
