they actually have an old jukebox in their snackbar.
the drive in is open all week. they have 3 different screens and they always show atleast 2 movies.
it's a buck more on long weekends. tuesdays are normally half price. thursday is a single price for a car load.

i hope the rain doesnt wash things out. the village was rated 2 and half stars =S

get their before 8 if you are going.

cliff, i believe it's 12$ or a buck more bc it's the long weekend.
they charge per person on friday but it works out to 6$ a movie (or 4 if u catch the last one).

check the website i posted below for more info.  they do have cheaper days but i think it will be a good time out.  i have my ball hockey games all up in oakville too (3rd line)

To get a descent spot you should be at there by 8:00.  Some cars may leave after the first movie but I presume most will stay to catch the Village.  I hope you can make it.

cliff, some ppl thought that renne's role was a bit over the top.  i agree with you, the movie needed her.  i think every characters role was crucial to the movie.

emily from metric had a show downtown on saturday nite.
i expressed interest in going this year but took care of my volunteer business to slow.  i was surprised i didnt hear a thing at all back from them.

i start playoffs this week in ball hockey.  it's a must win game.

i finaly saw Cold Mountain.
It was a true romantic story out of the sins of man. Dispite the fighting and distruction of order there were still good people and relationships made.It's like the greek myth of the Odyssey where the hero strugles to return home to his wife. The wife stays faithful to him dispite all the suitors on his land who eventually are all dealt with.I liked the themes of forgivness and one love. I liked how it showed some strong and independent roles of women. I like the fact used the civil war as a setting as it's one of the few movies I have seen to use it. I liked how it didnt show eithers sides cause as being noble.No complaints about the music as it seemed to fit the movie. Was not dissapointed, although my ass may have gotten tired in the theatre.

stina, i may not have a car for the guelph trip.the car's sticker expired tonight for it and it needs to be etested, oil changed, and receive a new sticker.  hopefully my dad can get it done during the day but he may have to stay around later after to work to get it done.

i hope you guys really do check out the toronto street fest. the opening with sarah slean last year was great. really friendly crowd and good acts.

I don't know about TEMF. Unlike Detroit's Electronic Music Fest there are few big names playing toronto's over the many days. The names I knew were the locals who have been supporting toronto raves and after hour parties for ages. A few hours of i-Dance had a better line up then days of TEMF. If they really want it to work I wonder if they will work with W(orld)EMF which is already held in TO.

Well, not by me, but Gabe's daughter called her Angelica. I'm still calling her Siren and Gabe still wants to call her Pepper...so her full name might end up being Angelica "Siren" Pepper. Gabe says it seems like a good porn star name.
