fricken sick video... prodigy live from moscow's red square. i had only seen an tiny AVI file of this when i 1st came online and never again since. the size of the audience packed up to the walls of buildings all jumping around with a layer of smoke waving over top fo them. rows of soliders/cops can be spotted too but how order could have been kept there i dont know. i got there fashionably loud preformance and it looks like crap in comparion to red sqaure. it was so tame that keith could jump into the audience and dance in the crowd.

We got our shipment for Spider-Man, which is coming out on a Friday (weird). I finally saw it for the first time ever, on Sunday. Good times. I really liked it. I also noticed that Arthur (the cartoon on TVO) came out with a new video starring...get this...the Backstreet Boys.

Tuesdays are just bitchy at school. It's the longest day of the week, and by the last hour of the last class we all look like we're going to spaz ("I just wanted to throw my pencil at her"). But I think during class is when I get the most out of my creative writing, I'm pretty impressed. Failing, but impressed. :( There's also an intrusive "eat more cheese" ad, full with a drawing of a hunk of Swiss cheese, that the guy sitting beside me drew on my notes under "10 questions you'll need for a needs analysis", in which I almost lost it. I couldn't wipe this doofus-grin off my face, lol. It almost turned into that Seinfeld episode with the Pez. It's one of those not-really-funny-but-when-you-keep-looking-at-it... in such down time moments, it's fucking hilarious. That probably didn't make sense, geez, my mom's calling me and I can't hear what she's saying!?!!

i had 2 intervies this morning. the 1 at sunlife went really well but she told me that the only part she is concerned about is that i have to go back to school in january when they really need someone 3 months or a bit longer. she did like me though. she was quite the cool business lady.

as for the warehouse job. i called the guy but he was sawmped but when he returned my call said i have a job. i just have to call him to let him know if the sunlife went through or not.

thanks for the wake up call rach and marc.

hymmmm rather strange interview. i think he was unimpressed with my responses to his scenario questions and how i have responded. you had to state when, your role, action, and outcome. so scene 1 was a misinterpretation so i told him about when coaching if i was misinterpretated the ppl fell *l*. 2. was a time where i had customer service and had to take direct action to solving a problem. i mentioned how during WYD working at the volunteer table a group of 7 ppl had piled up all unable to find a particular location. so i said after radioing in for it i took it upon myself to lead them to it through out the crowds. i should have just mention my beeing at that table was a direct response to a problem but anywhoo. i got an interview downtown tomorrow with my would be manager. i guess i should do my laundry. fack, i have a collection of dress summer clothes not much for the winter.

i didnt see my godson last weekend when he was down and now im not sure if i can go to ottawa. my parents took monday of and i have my interview on monday morning. guess thats a good thing but still i want to see my godson.

I think that guy you met on the bus really made you think about innocent looking people being deceptive. That broke in to your comfort zone and punched your senses to wake up. You can put deceptive people everywhere and not know it, and that would scare anyone. I think the guy on the bus made you consider your every day choices, like talking to strangers, that you would think could never harm you because you don't see yourself as a 6 o'clock news bulletin.

Since you're analysing these realisations, like that strangers aren't always as innocent as they look, fear of trusting any stranger at any time including in your past may have turned in to a nightmare. Hon, I think it's good that you're analysing your thoughts, but don't drive yourself crazy, try to simplify it as much as possible. Maybe this just means that you want to wake up and be aware of your surroundings and not keep your guard down. But don't be scared.

In other news, I have absolutely no clue what just happened in my last 2 and a half hour class lecture. But I certainly have "notes" (a sketch of Ghostface in my ledge, some 3-D bubbles, pretend math equations, etc).

I can't sleep. I'm listening to an album demo for this band, "lorraway". One of the guitarists is in my group for our presentation. They have this sound that mixes a whole whack load of different bands, like Nirvana/Radiohead/System of a Down/Incubus, at least just from what I'm hearing.

It's really heavy, but they mix in all these experiments, there's even a transitional bridge of piano solo interlude in the middle of one of the songs, as well as a hidden piano track at the end of the album. It's just got this mix of melancholy, cynicisim and anger. The only thing I don't like is that there's not enough variety, too much metal, it becomes repetitive. Maybe it's just because I'm not a metal freak, but overall it's a good album.

I'm so fucked, I don't want to sleep in, lol.

u know the short ride on the bus to erindale is one of the things i missed the most.
i was always the only person on the bus who spoke to anyone. most the time it was my buddy katie's younger bro but sometimes it would be strangers. now i had to stop going to the streetsville bus stop bc a few ppl were abit strange even by my standards. it was the best finding someone else who wanted to talk. i remember a girl started to talk to me about star trek *l*.

probally one of the best live moments i have ever seen on TV.
the TSN commentators looked almost shoken to tears. I hope they raised a lot of money and i think thats the most football i have ever watched.

You guys, need I say, are HARDcore. It's probably time to come up with a word that precedes "hardcore". You guys are too much!

That puts the week to an end with a good note at least. Well, if you've got some sunshine to rid yourself of, here's my week at a glance.

-My money's being held hostage by the bank and it's also deciding to not process my credit card payments, thus, I am "broke".

-I've been mooching cash/cigs./dignity from everyone around me, leaving my ego with a fine, large, scarlet bruise. My manager's switching stores :(, Lindsey's switching stores because of her ex-boyfriend :(, the two new hires are clones of me and Rosemary... :|, I'm feeling an Oompa-Loompa vibe, and I don't feel like part of the team at work anymore because I'm only there twice a week.

-I've got my workedonforamonth presentation on Thursday with my group, I hate her so much I want to rip my arm off and hit her with it, my portion doesn't make any sense and it can't get anymore interesting than that because, how much age discrimination is there against my portion, "Young Adults 20-34", of our Ageism Project? And how am I supposed to tie in "Adults 35-49" in to my time bracket---a completely different age group, without going over my time and keeping within the theme of my topic for Young Adults, just because dude who was responisble for Adults dropped the program?

Then this morning, almost 15 hours without my nic fill, and I slowly came to a realisation as I was walking to class that I bitched at some poor guy who sat beside me on the bus because he was moving around too much and touching me and almost got into a fight with a girl at Kipling because she was like the 17th person to brush by the newspaper I was trying to read. I even folded it in half to read it so that it wasn't in people's way, practically up against my face. How the hell do you still end up brushing by the fucking thing. What if it wasn't there, she'd be stepping on my SHOES! My shoes!!!

I HATE THEM ALL

On a brighter note, I only foresee one more week of hell-ish mishaps, and I'll be on my merry way to whatever it was that I was before I got so defensive about my shoes. And on Wednesday, I'm apparently going to Crocodile Rock---on Adelaide---and everyone's welcome. Two words: 911 Wednesday. (And the day before Thursday's group pres'n).

actually, john did sell out a pretty major venue...it's the kool haus/warehouse. that's where we saw the white stripes and tND, among other ppl. it's not _huge_, but it's much bigger than, say, the opera house, which is where he played last time. definitely not as big as some of the venues he's playing in the states now though. i think he's playing theatres w/ actual seats and stuff there. weird.

btw, christine, if you still read here, wanna go see jewel in buffalo? i really wanna see this dude named jason mraz who's opening for her...i am in love w/ his voice. wish he would just come and play on this side of the border. he opened for gomez in vancouver, but someone else did the toronto show. :(

hymmm maybe nora would start that one up too. anyways i had a dream where i was an executioner and a father in a dream.

i beleive it was last week where i dreamed i was a solider and when came across some armed millitant kids whom we had to kill. yes i told a few of u about this bc it was verry vivid and real to me. they were all younger then 6. well solider 1 couldnt do it and then i stepped in to do the gloomy task. well with the delay the kids got up from there knees and started running around. i screamed at them to get back in place and catching one of the boys i asked him why he wanted. he responded with some cheezy ass cute line like 'he wanted to go dancing like i did someday'. at that point i felt i couldnt kill him so just dragged him around in a head lock. so time passed by and back at my place i realized that if i dont kill this kid then im going to be his father. i cant see anyone or do anything with my life bc i have this kid (always in a headlock). as i thought about shooting him now or taking that route the phone rang and i woke up. i was so relieved when i got up that it was a dream and i had no decission to make. funny how rational options in dreams are just overlooked. why was the kid taken prisoner? why were fighting in europe and the march home was to asia? what would it mean if i did kill the kid? eek
lucky things for that dream all made sense. the pieces fit.

okay, i had an interesting dream yesterday...it was pretty vivid and i consciously remember that i was breathing quite well (in real life--but as soon as i got up my cold came back to screw me over again) as i slept!
analyze this:
- i'm going to witness eminem's (?!??) execution...in canada...i can't really remember why he's being put to death, but he's gonna be electrocuted. they bring him in and he's laughing and generally does not look afraid at all. he's strapped down and lying on a sort of operating table kinda thing, and there are maybe 10 ppl in the room. i'm afraid to watch so i step out to another room and start talking to some ppl in there, but then this guy walks out of the execution chamber looking disgusted and i have this urge to go back in and watch. and i can hear the buzzing of the electricity...so i go back in and watch. he doesn't look like he's in pain at all...he just keeps laughing defiantly (or something like that). then they un-strap him and he's all limp, and they drag him to a couch, and he's not really resisting or anything, but he's still sort of laughing...he really doesn't look like he's gonna die at all--he just looks really weak. weirdness.
- so then we're in another room talking off the special protective clothes or whatever we had to wear in the execution chamber, and some girls and i are talking, and somehow the topic changes to having kids at an early age, and one girl talks badly about some other girl who isn't there who got pregnant really young, and i'm kind of embarrassed and angry at her for being so mean, and i tell her that i just had a kid myself...?!??? and then she feels bad.
- and then i see this image of a really cute, chubby asian baby boy w/ big eyes, and he just looks like he's gonna grow up to be this buff, hunky (yet somehow asian as well) guy, and i assume that this is my kid. CRAZY!!!
- now it gets a bit confusing, 'cause i'm in a mall that's not really a mall that exists in real life....it's pretty big and it might be a mixture of square one and the eaton centre...who knows...but the weird thing is that it's also attached to a high school...'cause there are hallways and lockers upstairs....
but i'm walking through the mall part, and i run into mr. ouellette, my grade 8 teacher! and we start talking, and we're talking about how it's too confusing for students who are trying to graduate right now (maybe i'm a teacher as well, i can't remember), and i make some sarcastic remark about it and he laughs, and then we go our own ways. for some reason i have this urge to go to chapters or somewhere to get eminem's autobiography b/c i want to learn more about his life...for some reason i feel some sympathy for him...so i step outside the building--don't know why i can't get the book in the mall, but whatever--'cause i want to cross the street to go to the chapters there...and when i look around outside i can spot the blue roof of st. jude on the horizon...
and then i think i get into chapters, but i don't remember what happens after that...

it was so vivid! weird shit, i tell ya!
i think it's my head reminding me to go watch 8 mile.

sandy, the 427N incident i spoke of was not the rach wonderland drive *l*. anyways i got us there fine.

newhoo i think cgals colours are tripping me out a bit =p
we were some of the 1st ppl to get there but we took a walk and set up a patio for ourselves to sit and chat. then when they finaly let us in rather empty and meidacore. it was still in that state when tND started but everyone moved in front of the stage. there was a crowd but LOTS of room to dance and move about. lots of down time passed and then the next set went. it was a completely different feeling from kingston. large platforms were set up for dancers/viewers but there was enough space that those were un-needed. junior sanchez took the stage around 3:30am but we were gathering ourselves to leave.
i ran into oliver/theguyonthecouch there which was cool bc its been a lil while since i ran into him. the girl i met in the line seems to have dissapeared or took of her coat.

good times, but it wasnt the most rocking ND show or trip to guvernment. it was layed back and pretty much suited me perfectly =)
the venue was quite beautiful :). can't foget the lesbein visual of girls frenching while wearing headphones LOL.

night begins, and let me say i'm so glad i went! waiting in line we're all laughing over nothing, singing ol'songs and doing stupid dances yvonne"gennie in a botttle" galine "wait a sec', that sounds familiar...isn't it MESSAGE in a bottle?" lol and quote of the night "i'm catholic, so it's ok" (keep this in mind for later)
we got incredible spots right in front of the stage and it's so true, that security guard kicked ALL ass. although rach', remember when i said somebody smelled like b.o? *it was him*!
pepper sands-girl had some crazy eyes but a beautiful voice. and christina, the drummer looked like ryan gosling. teehee. he was so happy.
billy talent-while doing a pelvic thrust towards the mic'pole he was staring at me for the l o n g e s t time. it freaked me out so much that i had to turn away. that boy seriously needed to get laid. and as my ears were exploding from the sound, the nice security guard gave me earplugs, i gave one to von, and it made things better although my ears are so tiny it was hard to get in!

30seconds to mars-i hate to say this. i do. i've lost all interest in jared leto. sure he's still gorgeous. but what a feminine lil'bastard. i give him all the credit in the world for writing the music and lyrics to all of their songs..but the image is exactly as rach'put it "hollywood". i had the chance to meet him afterwards as they were at their booth *yes, i know, i could have TALKED to jared leto* but those eyes in person are actually creepy and i avoided making eye contact with him. i was so disgusted by the end of the set i said fuck it to saying hello. all he did was scream, not sing, the songs. meh.

ime-i finally got to experience the absolute crazy side of rachies love for ime *after 9 years!* and what a sweet thing it was. she was sooo happpy! and von too! i just felt privledged seeing them so happy. i love watching friends see their fav'artists...there's so much happiness. i was in charge of taking pictures and hopefully they all turned out, i think i got one of brian smiling in the cam *HOT STUFF*. they've made a new fan..definitely and incredible show! so much energy! damn fun that was. damn fun indeed.

AND RACH-i think you should give me SOME credit for the picture w/brian. lol;) they were so scared to talk to him so i'm like "hey, can they take a picture w/you" ohhh yeah. and he doesn't wear expensive boxers. he's down w/the "prodigy" brand from walmart. too cute. **funny thing i observed** while saying "it's great to be back home" his shirt lifted and exposed a belt w/the usa flag on it. lol. hmmm....

ok so back to rachies "catholic" comment, when the guy asks if we're heading downtown, and rach says we're from mississauga, she later says ok to driving him HOME while von and me are freaked out! von was like "you could be a psycho" and he was like "well there's 3 of you and 1 of me" i felt like saying "yeah, and you could have a gun on you" but rach' backed it up with "but he had a nice face". my reply "and paul bernardo looked innocent too.
bwahahhaha

ahh well.
