Cgal, the pic worked the first time I put it up, but when I checked up on it-to make sure Cam didn't hack it up already-it didn't even bother showing anymore. Thanks for trying tho. Damn geocities!

let the war begin. :D

i don't have tkts for saturday yet b/c i have absolutely no idea as to what is going on w/ advance tkts now.

(=

Ooh, Chris, I'm in for Sunday!...Concert fest. :)

Ok, I think it's pretty clear that I'm not doing homework when I'm supposed to be, but to make it up to you, and especially me:

Booyah!

Gahh....Don't tell me the link isn't working...Noooo!

shiit...there are only 100 $15 tkts, so act fast, ppl!!
if you want me to get one for you, let me know nooow!

(=

oh yeah. i forgot to tell you guys that tkts are on sale already for the kool haus tND thing....i think early tkts are $15 and later ones are $20...they're on tktmaster, but i think it's cheaper to actually go to an outlet to buy 'em. who's in? yes, it's on a sunday...

(=

Cam, this is war, baby. You're not the only one with access to Adobe Photoshop and a scanner!

"oh my gosh, that picture is funnier than my stupid song! *wink wink*"---Dammit!!! *tear*

Btw, tND on Thanksgiving weekend is on a Sunday? Yes, no?

Today from 2-4 pm, I was supposed to work on my resume. As you can see, it's 3 pm, and the closest that i've come to finishing my resume was actually logging on to the computer.

a bit, but kamikaze pilots were out then. i doubt this was the inspiration. heck if a cartoonist thought it up chances are in that time someone else would too.

the gremlin reminds me of brain from 'pinkey and the brain'
anywho im watching The Hobit. the 1978 cartoon located on that same page

that's freaking scary. maybe they got the idea from watching the cartoon.

i ended up finding his stuff from following a link of XL's page to the twisted records lable. you may have seen his name else where. glad u like.

cgal. thats awfully cool. il check out 1hr photo and we can chat about fight club sometime. stina knows more then enough about it too and everyone i think can admit that movie kicks ass. its still on my HD

i just found a web page which has streaming video of old films and cartoon. so for kicks i decided to watch an old bugs bunny toon. well it was called the "Falling Hare" and was made on Oct 30, 1943 (war time). The scenario is bugs laughs at the idea of tiny gremlins sabatoging amercain planes. and then has a lil scuffle with one. Now the strange part, the gremlin trys to fly the plane into 2 twin sky scrappers in what appears to be NY. Bugs is able to fight of the gremlin and regain control of the american plane as they nose dive for the ground.

cam, i like andy votel's mix o'stuff. i think i've seen his name somewhere before...

(=

hahaha. cam. TMBG played an early show 'cause it was for the kiddies. they played a show for adults at midnite.

cgal, i'm afraid to watch one hour photo 'cause i don't want to see robin williams doing insanely scary things. :D
oh, and i didn't get to watch it either, but i heard that the episode of the wedge hosted by jared leto was really good. he played good videos, like bjork and thom yorke w/ dj shadow/unkle and whatnot.

marc, has cliff seen tND before? i can't remember. so i should get him a tkt too? and FIND OUT if you're really coming already!!! (you better be.) i'm buying tkts TOMORROW!!!

(=

it's the biggest bitch in the world when you write a lengthly post, only to have it dissapear on you. oh yes, it's a //great// feeling. i'll attempt to start over.....

go watch one hour photo. it's a must. one of the greatest movies of the year. i always had respect for robin williams as an actor but this movie makes you admire him even more. you're in suspense from start to finish. and it's filmed beautifully. i want to watch it again. it makes you want to run out and take many photos..only develop them yourself.

i'm in movie mode. i've watched snatch and fight club twice, two bday presents from joel:) brad pitt is another talented guy. as well as edward norton. and benicio del toro. but i won't drag the list on-i highly recomend watching fight club again if you haven't watched it in awhile. so many messages in each and every sentence. i could analyze that movie for hours.i found myself writting down words and sentences that appealed to me so i could think about them later. how nerdish of me, isn't it?

cammie: i'm no junglist thug.i'm not privledged enough to have a towel draped around my neck, holding on to it for dear life while dancing, ocassionally lifting it in the air and spining it around in circles. i just view them from afar in admiration;)

look at the use of the word "wonky" again. it's contagious.;)

marc- i have all the thundercats toys. they were the all time best. cheetara was a hot cat. lol. but nobody could beat Lion-O. i have the one of him where his eyes light up. we really did have the greatest shows. i forgot to add in jem. "jem is truely outrageous..truely truely truely outrageous..woaaaaah jemmm!" (i even have a jem tape) hahaha

i'm off.
this better save.
my love to you all,
cgal
xxx
12 more days until jared. mmmmmmmm

u see in my dreams reality i figured it was the Stones and since they are so old and there fans they would hit the stage around 7:30/8 so it wasnt to be a late night. since we were running late we had to carry some of our own gear. so i just had like one of my guitars and maybe a mic. meg just had a sneer and maybe her stool. the roadies were not that organzied among the chaos. oh and the dream ended when we realized they didnt expect us to play so early. that would be wonky ;). ummmmm but didnt TMBG play at that time?

awwwww so u saw men with brooms already. molly does seem pretty nice and cool from all of what i have seen about her. go molly go *l*. did kate and andria really need to drag you to see any movie stina? *l*. well if they did that gives you full right to drag them to see tND.

nadine, thanks? haha. il explore it

interesting, the girl from Porishead sings while smoking. kinda old fashion sexyness to it. probally not the best for her voice but meh.

LISTEN to THIS. it's funky goodness if your feeling for something different. ANDY VOTEL . currotisy of http://www.twistednerve.co.uk/tnradio/index.html
*i think stina might like the most.... but it's rather long. interest could be lost. im just enjoying it now

for everything that is simpson

hahahahahahhaa.....cam, i just read about yer white stripes dream. :D oh my. first of all, you wouldn't have to lug your gear b/c i'm sure your roadies would do it for you. next, who plays at 6:30?!? hahahahaha

(=

i've already seen men w/ brooms. andria and kate dragged me to it. :D
when i worked at the airport for the festival, some volunteers saw molly parker when they were picking up a director! we were supposed to pick her up on some other day, but i guess she decided to come earlier. they said she was really nice.

(=

thank you stina. i would say i was bonafide from the night we saw them live but the word 'bonafide' just sounds to funny to use *l*

anywho i feel special =p

Molly Parker is instersting and we all have to see Men with Brooms when it comes out.

nite

i love that you are now a bonafide white stripes fan, cam. :))

(=

hope u get well marc. im still not 100% and its been a month or soo =S

i thought sherah was hot.

i watched the MTV video awards a bit and ogled over jimmy fallon's ass.
he covered a shit load of artists and it was done really well. his lil white stripes lego act was funny too.

i DL the video of the white stripes in glastonburry :). it rather good shit =). almost a full hour :)

this sucks, the only one who posted about going out is in kingston..... and umm has to much crap to do anyways.
hey hot hot heat is the band u posted on here last week aint it? gemma and andria have other bands they put b4 it? crazyies.

where they heck are those 2. ?

so joel told me he had dream i was going to be stabbed by a jungalist thug. i dont think we can find a internet dream analysis for that one. only jungalist thug i know is galine =p. i had strange dream aswell. i was Jack White and we were opening for the stones. the venue was like the guvernment but it was a different snazzier design. big curving walls (like my house) with curved open stair wells and a exposed elevator. anywhoo Meg and I were running late for the show so we ran in with thin white coveralls lugging our gear in. it was 6:30 and we needed to go on so we plugged into our amps as the crowd excitingly watched. then someone let us in that we were playing at 10:00. we were relived and i woke up. funny bc although i was jack white i was watching from a tv camera view many times and just for some scenes i was looking out his eyes.

*watchs kiss the girls in suspense*

there are quite a few homecoming happenings going on tonite, but i have so much crap to do here... :(((
hot hot heat is playing at a bar downtown as well, but i have so much crap to do.....and no one will go w/ me. :(((

funny e-bay item.

(=

cgal, glad we agree :)
the reason why i didnt include the shows u just listed is bc i didnt watch them. i just happened to forget Transformers and Saved by the Bell. there were lots of good stuff in the 80's it was just that we were younger then 8yrs old.

ANYONE UP FOR ANYTHING TONIGHT?

40 days 40 nites. not the best movie but it had its good parts :)

*might have to right click "show picture" for the above image to appear.

lol
you're #1!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh my gosh, that picture is funnier than my stupid song! *wink wink* crissandra looks too damn cute! i always knew you had a think for avril;) 18 years old //grins more//

cammie: i'm glad you liked my story. and what you said about our childhood television shows was absolutely correct. everything else 80's may have been a complete waste, but when it came to television, nothing compares. i'd like to add in the popples and the wuzzles! our shows were filled with such good humor...they were great. i wish i could buy boxsets of all the great shows-thundercats! ahh the memories....//sob// i always look at the shows today and think it must suck to be a kid. there's nothing worth watching out there.

christina: you ARE a trend setter;) damnit i missed the wedge!!! boo. im upset. did anyone tape it? i doubt that..do they ever re-air it? proably not right? //tear// i had something else to say to you but i forgot...do do dooo...ah yes!! "rafferty" lol! what a name!! jude. so solid and masculine. then "rafferty"?!?! were they on drugs when naming their child? it's horrible!

well im off now...
//laughs some more at the picture of criss'...teehee//

hey, in my continual quest over the net i came across some interesting news.

today is Avril Lavigne's Birthday. she's 18 *grins*
a pretty funny interview/preformance from a german talk show is
^^there u go crassy and friends. especially for you crassy.

*note as brilliant as the link is i think u might have to manually insert it into your real player.
http://avriljunk2.wz.cz/Avril_Lavigne-TV_Total-09-02-pgnet.rm

Surfing other fellow Blogspots, I came across the Scary Duck.blogspot.com.

Fuck, he's hilarious.

http://rinkworks.com/bookaminute/b/shakespeare.richardiii.shtml

i always forget about the bodies smell. u dont get that sense while watching CSI.
eewwwww the Perch smell was stuck in my head for over a month.

i see stina and crassy have aligned again. phreaks =p

yeah dozing through all sorts of pages on the net i came up with info regards to the lable. jack white recorded there album.
i have been listening to random artists from this page. some of its rather good. i like :)
http://www.nexusunderground.com/first_letter_mp3.php?first_letter=f

hahahhaha!!! marc, that is so siiick!!! :D
it's probably different when it's fresh though...

hee hee. nice editing job, whoever did it...

(=

Tell that kid to move out of the way, he's blocking our view of "Jud" *lol*
The kid on the scooter reminds me of the Flashing Lights video, where the band gets the kids to sorta lip synch/sing along with the song, I think it's called It's Alright, it's really cute.

Two cents worth...What a shitty day.

that's his stepson!

btw--you were asking why whirlwind heat isn't on V2 before....they're not on that label, they're on JACK WHITE's own label, third man records, or something like that.

(=

hey my hair line is better then him :)
i thought there was a girl jud law or something. hymmmm i dont recognize him. il read

the kid with the scooter, dont trust him at all.

anyone remember how html buttons work?

YOU DON'T KNOW WHO JUDE LAW IS?!??????? i pity you.

here, read and learn. except he has one more kid now.

that kid is so cute!!!

(=

who's jude law? i know the name sounds familuar. anywho i was highly suspect that u would have known about the movie but decided to post anyways. i see lots of stuff out there. the bootleg video preformance i think was the better find.

i think marc and i are still ago for next weekend. yeah il talk for him, were going *l*

crazy, i was looking at some of the oakenfold pictures from guvernment. they can do pretty cool things with the lighting in the main room. tND might be more deserving for that room.... i hope they connect over the guvernment though,,, not just the orange room.

"my goshness!" haha
karen u look out for those scarry things in the library. should now be a good time to mention some of UFT downtowns legendary ghost storries? well there is a book on it, see if there is a copy in the libary. :)

oh yeah, and the british version of rock star is so much better...come on--NOEL GALLAGHER was on it!!! and it's actually funny! the american version is just cheesy funny.

(=

cam, i knew about the movie. it's called cold mtn and JUDE LAW is in it too!!!!!! and nicole kidman!
btw, are you and marc coming next weekend? 'cause i will try getting tkts tomorrow if you are.

i think i'm coming home for thanksgiving. but the tND thing is in the koolhaus (w/ other stuff in the orange room), not in the guvernment. boo.

(=

karen i hope u had a rain coat or umbrella.
i hope the rest of you just didnt have to be outside :)
i dont think it has stopped coming down for 1 minute.

btw, Jack White is going to be in a movie with Natalie Portman.
here is a not so great bootleg of them too..... bootleg

*helps*

"martha, will, and I..." that's what it should be.
glad u had fun.
rach thats a great mix of drinks :)
another fan of the silver :). marc and cliff i believe werent fans of it bc of the burn. i find it tastes like a drink and it gets me drunk pretty quickly. on saturday thats all i had besides the shots and it was enough.

watched both versions of rockstar. didnt watch enough of the TVO one but the much one was fun.

err blogger died on me posting earlier.

hymmmmm what did i have to say......

odk is becoming like stina bc she's becoming a whore? that doesnt sound quite right. hymmmmm
anyways

cgal thats a cute story. haha one of my cousins had a signature from one of the ppl from the polkadot door.
finigan was my faveourite. casey and him had to leave the show bc the pupeteer(sp?) that controled them was leaving. no one else knew how to work them like she did so that had to go with her. they thought the audience wouldnt notice because most of them were built on young kids being new viewers to the show why the older ones moved on. well i cared damnit *l*
awwwww they also showed mr dressups addressing his farewell to the staff right b4 shooting the final eppisode. i was watching with my lil cousin scott and were both kinda in awe.

we had some of the greatest tv shows as kids. fred penner, mr dressup, sesame street, todays special, sharen lois and bram, pee wee's play house, mr gadget, smurfs, carebears, spider man, batman the original serries, etc
our generation has caught the best TV has ever offered and jumped smoothly on the wave of video games and the Internet. think the next generation will be as media lucky as us? i dunno, we were pretty damn lucky.

i just tricked up my computer with kazza lite 2 and hacks.

yes, cgal, i just start all the trends, don't i? ;P

for you jared leto fans, his band is hosting the wedge tomorrow nite, and it seems they're going to be playing some good videos, too!

(=

//cries//
mr.dressup was on at 7?? and i MISSED IT?! cassie and finnigan were on too, weren't they? i'm so sad. mr.dressup was my all time favorite. he'll always hold a special place in my heart. as will fred penner. saw him in concert when i was a wee one....but was so far back i didn't enjoy it like i should have. when i was older i went to his concert *i was probably 16!* i went w/my mom, joel and my bro..afterwards i bought a tape of his and told him "my story" he signed my tape and wrote "never forget" and all this cute stuff. i even got to hug him. hehe. happiest day -ever-

okay so who watched friends? am i the only one that is extremely dissapointed? first off, I HATE those episodes. it all got resolved which was good, but what's with the ending!!! i'm only dissapointed because ross didn't ask her to marry him. would they GET MARRIED already?!?! eesh :: one cool thing about the episode "that armenian family" and "mr.h....something something..i a n"-->usually an indication of being armo(especially if it's long and difficult to say) incredible!

oh and christina, in //now// the term "wonky" was used, describing a cd or a book...i'll find the line and post it. seems the word is making it's place in the world. lol. and you started it all, at least in my eyes;)

xxx
cgal

she's turning into me b/c she's becoming a post whore. :D

i could've had the opportunity to interview bif naked if i had been at home 2 hours ago. oops. oh well. i wouldn't have known what to say anyway.

(=

haha marc i saw some on TV last week. the whole 50yrs on CBC thingy payed tribute to him, Fred Penner and the Green Giant. :)
hehe the best was seeing Mr. Dressup answer questions from a group of ppl around our age. bunch of punkish looking kids who all had questions for the man. :)

stina, what do u mean she is turning into you?
watching a silly play over and over again? chasing down brit pop bands? =p
hehe jk

i couldnt find a "wholy guacamole!" but they are all great

hahaha...karen's turning into me. :D

hahahahhahah even more....#1 on muchmoremusic....!!! :D

i love this "holy bijou!" thing!!! :))

rach, my music prof is HILARIOUS. i'm serious. she's great. i can't miss it.

(=

Wow, acid, drinking, shrooms...you little rascals.

I'm going to be at first pub @ Humber tonight. We're leaving in 20, trying to get there for 7 pm. Beware, apparently it's renovated and last year there was a serious mass of hardcore students, waiting to get drunk. There was some line up. Be careful!

Shopping? With Rachel? *gahhh!* *runs for the hills* lol, luv ya, but this is when shopping is a challenge. Okay, well the only tough time ever was on Tuesday, lol. drama queen!

LOL,
that was one of the funniest things i have read in awhile. so krunky!!
u havent done your double multiple post thing since last school year.

marc what time are u going to pub? is there cover? dont do drugs :)

btw stina, JM is number 1 on the much more music countdown this week. http://www.muchmoremusic.com/

.....sigh....

no 'le sigh' ? that's totaly pooped and a half for you.

wow, i could only find a contest to enter the sky dome show. no doub opens for that one!
hymmmm i wonder if they might do a surprise gig while they are down? *keeps an eye and ear out*

the whirl wind heat are supposedly on the same lable as the white stripes. i dont see them on XL?

Global did a recent story on E and how it has made it beyond the rave culture. supposedly the prices have come down to 2$. from the days when ginos would play $25+, ravers $20, your friend gets it to u for $15 it has gone down to 2!?. thats crazy. thats cheaper then a bus ticket

Cameron Bay.

tND is NEXT weekend. oct. 5. ask christine if it's haunted. it might be, or something like that.

the white stripes are opening for the rolling stones at the ACC next month!!! awww...i need to win tkts.

(=

the daily tradition continues.

hey there is lots of good looking women in the current ads.
Tic Tac!
the coor's lite "when the bouncer says 'you, you, and youuuu"
and the elevator one for Axe (?)

Wednesday, September 25, 2002

i got the same drunk one as marc. hymmm this seems like something someone would post on a raver baord and get bitched out for after *l*

haha a guy from humber called me today to give me a lil speel about the school.
he asked me if i had seen the campus yet and i replied with a 'no'. he wanted to arrange a tour for me but i shyed away from doing that at this moment. i was going to tell him 'i might do pub 2morrow, does that count?' but figured that was in appropiate.

just to clearify, this weekend is NO new deal show.... but NEXT weekend is tND show? hymm and is stine's house really haunted?

this cracks me up
i'm potassium!
*stoned*

click HERE to see what kinda druggie
you are!

u have a lecture on 80's pop, RnB, and madonna.... go to it. find someone to tape john mayor. eesh
hymmm stina u sent the clinc spam thingy to me? the music wasnt bad at all but it was a 3rd party link again. evil.

i want to see the new eppisode of friends

i can't miss the class. it's going to be about 80's pop culture, r&b, and madonna. a classic lecture. the only way i will miss it is if someone videotapes it for me. my prof is absolutely fantastic.

so are cam and marc the only ones coming to k-town next weekend? i'm buying the tkts w/ andria tomorrow, so i need to know!!!

(=

new musical interest: hot hot heat

DAMMIT!!!!!!!
i have to miss my first john mayer show in toronto!!!!!!!! :((( it's in november on a (#$*&@)($&#@$$ tuesday. that wouldn't be a problem if i didn't have a flipping good nite class on tuesday. this sucks. it's gonna be at the kool haus, too. he's moving up in the world. awww...there is no way out of this one. :(

(=

hilarious. he denies dating michelle branch, and then we find out that she thinks she _was_ dating him. :D love it. then he tries to save her from sounding like a nutjob.
on a slightly similar note, he's featured in that magazine that they pass around for free in high schools called "WHAT." and believe it or not, bedouin soundclash is in there, too!!! :))

(=

not yet phreak,
and ummmm i beleive one of them plays a guitar.... a bass

so has anybody been watching the young person's guide to becoming a rock star on tvo? it's freakin' fabulous!!!

(=

"Why do we always have to fight when we're on vacation?"
Haha. Oh, Smithers, you slay me.

Chris, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...lol, ok, ...I said,
"...And didn't John Lennon have a vigil in Strawberry Fields when he died?..."
He did have one when he died right? I didn't intend for it to mean that he gave one to himself (?!), or that he held a vigil as he was dying, lol. That'd just be kinda creepy and a little narcissistic.
Just that a vigil was held for him in his honour...He had a vigil in Strawberry Fields. Obviously not by or for himself, or before or while he was dying. All is that. But since you insist...

"Wasn't there a vigil held in Strawberry Fields to commemorate John Lennon's death a few days after he died?"
:)

"There's so little to do and so much time to do it! Wait..." WW & the CC

She's still hardcore.

they don't play guitars, phreak.
i'll ask 'em to come this weekend when i go to kate's w/ a bazillion tND flyers.

(=

Tuesday, September 24, 2002

aww shoot i guess i made a html mistake?

my sister set a bag of popcorn on fire. i had to take it and throw it in the snow outside. haha i used to get so upset as she could never get the timing of the thing right. EVERYTIME. well that was a flashback from the past.

i havent made Easy Mac in a long time. I think bc the huge value price club pack is gone. i miss it *l*

are u saying we are tND phreaks? hymmmmm =X
tell gemma they play guitars and have been on the new music. that's rock star enough is it not?

andria said she's definitely coming. so she better not back out. not sure about gemma and kate. i haven't really made them crazee tND phreaks yet.

(=

i think this is the first time im not the one fighting with stina or crassy here :)
this debate is even more exciting then the TTC chime too *l*

newhoo my printer just realized i took the cartrdige out of it 15 mins ago and screaming at me. yes it is screaming.

rach u can always try the microwavable soup

awww...rachel, why can't you come?

crissandra, not trying to create a stir, but i quote you from 9/23/2002 at 11:44:33 AM:
"...And didn't John Lennon have a vigil in Strawberry Fields when he died?..."

(=

Ooh, share a sofabed? Rarr.

I'm working this weekend both Sat and Sun from 8am-430pm. October 5th weekend is Jenn/Nicole's "housewarming" or as I'd rather call it, "excusetodrink-warming", even though they did move in to a new house. October 14th (Thanksgiving) is cool for tND @ Guvernment. Maybe we can still make a road trip out of it? Haha.

lol, Christina! I didn't say anything about Lennon having his own vigil before or after his own death to commemorate his own death...*LOL* I meant after he died, a vigil was held to commemorate his death in Strawberry Fields. Does that make sense now? lol, you're so funny sometimes.

christine's place is haunted. :D just kidding. but she don't got no sofa bed at all, and she lives a lot farther away from elixir than i do. but do what ya want!

i like dashes. and parentheses.
(=

LOL
i did cut his chin into a more normaly proportioned version but it wasnt as fun.

*observes*
the dash--dash talk is interesting. you still use the backwards happy face ( =
odk uses lots of...in her msgs
and cgal uses //to sperate certain pieces// of her posts.

i warn you though--you will all be sharing the sofa bed. :D

cam--yep, i watched the new music. it was okay.
yer drawing looks like jay leno's son or something.

(=

count me in.
stina i hope that u made that last post after watching the new music.

i tried to draw again in photoshop but the image i see is of a man's face. he needs some work. i might go back and work on the old pic again. hymmmmmm cgal...... i like your idea. maybe i will have a halloween party.

HAHAHA--we _do_ have a nursing program! :D my friend's in it.
yaay! visitors! let me know for sure if you guys are coming, and if you are, let me know how many ppl so i can get tkts for you all.

(=

yaaay!!! marc is tempted!!! :D
i'm still not sure about how much tkts for tND are, but i am CERTAIN they will not be more than $15. i'm still waiting for a response as to how much they really are. it might be $12 advance. that's what it's usually like, anyway. dj denise benson is opening.
you can always come to both...or just move here! :D

(=

Monday, September 23, 2002

oh my god, freaking rachel perry?! that is sick. edit time. :D

crissandra--i still don't get it. how could john lennon hold a vigil for himself?!
i'm not sure about all the details for tND on thanksgiving weekend yet...it was just leaked out today. :)

(=

stina, its not the longest bit on them. it shows a clip of an interview b4 or after that show as Jack White throws back to every decades rock n rollers. hey and if it's on at 1-2 why does that mean no sleep for you? i never got to see the beth orton but i wanna. johnon davies looks like shit.

i looked through that spin magazine a few times and after not finding the article i gave up on it.

speaking of Magazines and Much our one and only Rachelle Perry has a spread in Stuff magazine.

btw, how much for the clothing show. seems like an excellent place to see women *l*

I wouldn't mind seeing tND on Thanksgiving weekend. How much?

Chris, you're the only one i know that can fit in the word "debauchery" without sounding obvious. And I didn't mean that John Lennon was having a vigil the weekend you were there, silly, I meant backnthaday. *lol* You know..'75-'80 whenever the year it was that he died? I guess, '72?

Notes: Ringo is still alive.

Cgal, me and Yvonne went to the Clothing Show on Sunday too, so much stuff. :)

marc, if you can't make it next weekend, you can always come this weekend. it's homecoming weekend and there's a party at kate's! drunken debauchery is guaranteed.
but if you want to come for tND and you leave at around 6, you can still make it here before they start.

phew, the new music is on again at 1. great. no sleep for me again tonite.

(=

DAMMMIT!!!!! i missed it again...does it replay again tonite??? i've always wanted to see that episode!!!!!!!!!
i bought the spin issue. :) i also have the one where they're on the cover of Q.
greeat about the 5th! andria wants to meet you. :D

(=

i have to be quick posting...

Stina right now the New Music they are going to show The White Strips from i think the toronto show. part of garage show rival bit.
meh il post a link to the newmusic after when i hunt it down.
oh they are on the cover of Spin
and yeah i think im good for the 5th (thinks)

cgal, i started from scratch. pretty much scribiled and dropped effects while not focusing on creating any particular images. that was what the 1st pic showed. then i started to bring out some of the images i saw in it but most the work was not destroying what was already there. i sent rach the original to see if she saw some of the images i was seeing. she saw the lady in the white dress and got scared and closed it. i found it a rather creepy but the girl i focused on i found to be rather attractive. she is still spooky but i find it has a seductive look to it. heck i titled it Siren.

hihi everyone
ooh cammio, those pictures are frightening. almost seems like a scene out of a horror movie. did you make that on your own, or distort a photo? the recent one you posted, there looks like a face in the chest...the eyes and nose. those would be great to enlarge and hang loosly from the walls for a halloween party. gives off an eerie vibe.

the clothing show. mmm the clothing show. what can i say? a funfilled day of adventure for joel and myself. endless goodies....i left with a pair of pants, a skirt, a dress and some beautiful shades- all for the low price of $110. I went the next day with rosa, for the purpose of purchasing some //kitchen orange//products, only to be extremely dissapointed to hear that they never showed. so I bought a geek boutique shirt instead. lol. must support the greatest brand of all times.

and then that night, none other than dj hype @ kool haus, house, whatever the name has changed to. 19+ was fabulous considering there weren't candy colored children sprawled on the floor chewing away on whatever they can find. although i bet they lost out on ticket sales considering it wasn't //too// crowded. not as if that's a bad thing though, it gave room to dance..and dance freely. dj hype was great, the sound was fab', and we danced the 2 hours straight. although I must admit after the 2nd hour I was exausted. I can't go crazy two weekends in a row....i'm aging. lol it was incredible, joel enjoyed himself soo much which makes the experience 20 times better. I love to watch him dance-he's always so happy and beautiful. and he gets so much joy out of seeing a dj he absolutely loves.

so good weekend, i'm glad you all had fun, coldplay sounds like it was a good time:) And crissandra, he shall be yours, don't you worry. :D

much love to you all,
cgal
xxx

nope, not that i know of...they just played some shows in hamilton and waterloo, but no guelph...if they ever do play guelph, apparently andria, kate, and i are gonna do another roadtrip.
btw--andria wants you to come visit us again! :D so you better come for homecoming weekend this weekend or for tND nite!! :D

(=

is anybody still interested in coming up for oct. 5?

(=

i think rach said i was white bc i used the word ninny b4 *l*

thanx giving sunday with tND sounds excellent
*drinks to that*
yay
Oct 16th underworld is here again. hymmm will it be the 3rd visit here that i will miss? 25$ tickets is reasonable. its a wednesday *l*
hymmmmmm

crassy your twisting my words. but we already talked.

i still like that pic. i tried to make it look more real but it came out more like a painting then a photo.

hey, i never said that john mayer wasn't a ninny. he is. and i don't think he's afraid to admit it, either. do remember that i used to really like coldplay. who knows what i'll think of john mayer in a few months' time...! actually, i really haven't even been listening to him all that much lately....

about the john lennon thing...how could he have a vigil in strawberry fields when he was already dead?! huuh???
i believe paul mccartney and ringo are the 2 surviving beatles....

oh man. i am definitely coming home for thanksgiving. apparently tND is having a big blow-out at the guvernment/koolhaus complex on sunday nite!

(=

Christina, I've been comparing their sound to John Mayer ---just that Coldplay was so much better than him ;)---laid back rock, or pop...meaninul lyrics, specially), so if Coldplay sound like ninnies, then...lol. And didn't John Lennon have a vigil in Strawberry Fields when he died? All their deaths are confusing. Is Ringo still alive? I bet he was probably the first to pass. Geez.

And don't worry, they're going to break up... -Rach

Rach, that's exactly what I love about you. :) You're so right, sometimes, it's scary!

well im going to retract my statement that coldplay is crap-Cam. That's two down...

Cam, there's a resemblance between one of your old best friends that you want to introduce? Did I read that right? And something about a Lisa Loeb album you own, sing to and love to death? ;) And I think the song about "home" you're looking for is called Clocks.
Home, home where I wanted to go.

Crud, I missed Canada AM. Well, not that I ever have caught it, but of all days.

everyone thinks it's john lennon's grave site! it's actually strawberry fields in ny. although there aren't really any fields... :D i took it the day i went to see john mayer play at the village underground....that was around the time that george harrison passed away.

(=

TY stina, umm what is that pic off? john lenon grave site or another sort of tribute? i see a canadian flag in there =S

well i have taken adavantages of that service. just making a mess in photoshop (after failing to draw moo or alexander) this is what i came up with.
hymm do see any figures in it? i defenitly could see the outline of a ghostly lady in a dress in the bright part of the pic. i noticed what appeared to be a 2nd lady in a prom dress aswell situated to her right. i was a bit more facinated with this one as i could see some stunning detail. (shoulder strap, eye, hair part, right arm, right hand, etc)

a few edits left me with this. i think she looks rather good and gothic. maybe it will be a different sight 2morrow as my perception changes.

i took that pic! :)) i'm glad it made ya think!

i think i'm becoming a cat and girl fan. this made me laugh.

(=

wow...that picture just made me take a minute and reflect
thought is the most powerful tool we have...and if you peel off all the outer layers the main thing that is driving this world is hope.....our imagination
not knowledge, but our imagination
just seemed.....interesting

cam, i just found picture trail today...hence, i can now post things like this:

(=

the band is going to break up?
well im going to retract my statement that coldplay is crap. i did like a song they sang about 'home'. as for the rest of the stuff i think it couldnt even make the B-side of a lisa loeb album *l*. for the bits of the I&I i saw of the interviewe i saw a spooky resemblence to one of my old best friends. it's the English talk.

i ran out of web space with rogers...... so til i get some more. ummmmm sorry no more pixs to post up.

was it just me or did crassy sound a bit poetic in that post?
i saw the 1st song of coldplay for the I&I and i liked the footage. hymmmmm but i wouldnt inflict my grandma on hearing anymore of it.... to the Emmy Awards

sorry to break yer heart crissandra, but i think chris martin's in love w/ gwyneth paltrow. :D
i think their stuff is catchy, and chris is definitely charismatic, but sometimes, they can sound like ninnies. ;P

(=

thanx stina.
il check that out but most the time that's star trek time *l*

the one on much is really not THAT bad. they killed the drummer already and i got more screen captures of the dj vs the sexy basest chick. il keep an eye out on TVO :). have you ever watched the show "The Tribe" on TVO? it's on Sunday's at 7 (which would be right now). the scenario is that the world population has been wipped out and only some "tribes" of kids. I followed it from its first showing in canada but have missed a shit load since then. it's fun to follow with a raver touch and over dramatics. actually its done really good. *i want amber to return*

anyone catch Crash Palace on Omni.2 ? i havent seen it but i did find a list on the internet of all the nudity in first season *l*

Karen, I'm glad you had a good time last night. And had such a good birthday, ;). Haha. Go, birthdays!

Rach, you're singing Shiver :) I'm so proud. O, how I feel like Christina, converting people and all. If you like Shiver, you'll like Don't Panic, Trouble and Spies. They're the best tracks on the Parachutes album, along with Shiver. I remember I used to loop Parachutes while I did my homework for hours on end.

Coldplay was amazing. It was such a story before we even got in to the concert, basically we made it in after an hour and a half in to the show. Chris Martin, or Barry as I like to call him, is such The Performer. He has this certain energy, where you can hear the excitement he has for his music through his voice. The crowd and the band just kept on feeding each other energy. It was packed in there. And it's laid back music but he doesn't make it feel like that, live. During one of the instrumental parts of one of the songs, he started crooning Nelly... "it's getting hot in here...so I'm going to take off all my clothes....it's getting hot in here....". For, I think it was Green Eyes, he started going on about how their dressing rooms never have had balloons in them before, so a stage hand passes him a balloon and he explains how he wants to experiment with the Chipmunks version of the song, and inhaled the helium and started singing. I hope he's available...for marriage. *blush* :)

We went downtown to see them again at HMV for their signing session, and ended up only getting to see the backs of their heads through the windows and some of their faces from the front, but through the crowd. That was kinda sucky.

The Clothing Show was fun, too.

Absolutely brill.

:)

I was scared, I was scared, tired and underprepared but i'll wait for it,
If you go, if you go, and leave me down here on my own then I'll wait for you

cam, you were talking about that show on much called "my guide to becoming a rock star" before, right? well, i think there's a better version (although that oliver hudson is pretty cute)--the original version--on TVO this week from mon-fri at 12:30 a.m. (1 a.m. on tues) called "the young person's guide to becoming a rock star." too bad i missed the pilot episode last friday. :( it's based in scotland! :))

(=

if you like coldplay, don't forget about the i&i on much tonite at 8.

(=

=)
KAREN, marvalous bday festivities
your too intoxicated to read blogger right now so il ttyl :)

Gah, I'm always last...

HAPPY BDAY KAREN!

Coldplay, here I come. ;)

woah woah woah...
chris camileri? was he a year younger, or a couple years younger than us? because i helped tutor a "chris camileri" and that just scares me. lemme know who he is, because if he's black it's not the chris I know. the one I know is spanish *terrible, i should know this, but i think he is* he would braid his hair or leave it all curly.....

the world is a crazy place.

..cgal.

ps, on a wonderful brighter note:) HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN! have a great day-be crazy. i swear, you get crazier and funnier the more I talk to you..I"m waiting for that one day where you just let loose. lol happy birthday:) and you are the greatest because you are a virgo. ohhh yeahh;)

freaky, i was just going to post about baseball!?!
cbc newsworld channel 26 is showing a lil documentary on the Montreal Expos...
they were in the crowd talking to ppl during the home opener of the 99 season. the special is actually on the tournment of the montreal expos (highs and tears).

-some of the best things about it was seeing a full stadium... almost the illusion that ppl cared who won
-2nd, the game looked alot more exciting seeing the field through the crowd.
-they were also talked to an old time player in the crowd. he comented on how 'now its like a zoo, they push the roof down on you, food, music, and everything is being pushed on you. they dont just let you watch the game. things are going back to nature, thats where things should be"
sadly with baseball i dont think ppl really care to see the things happening on the field. as for all the distractions that was one of my biggest tiffs with Basket Ball and i hate TV time outs in hockey games.

btw, the documentary is rather interesting. better then the crap on Fox *l*
anywhoo hockey preseason started last night :)

i would hereby like to declare that i am a big fan of josh phelps of the toronto blue jays. remember that name. he will be BIG someday!!!
i was there in boston on the first day that he joined the team (canada day!) and i've been watching him play since then, and he is goood.
i should start a fan club or something. :))

(=

bon anniversaire, karen!

(=

happy birthday krunky :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN

dentyne ice, maybe i should have payed more attention to her face?

Chris got stabbed =/

Rach Chris is a tall black guy that went to FX. he was a grade younger then us. He was on the retreat marc and i lead and vonvon was on. Coming home from WYD i met an ex-gf of his on the train. She called him up but i think he was in 'bed' at the time.
i hadnt kept in touch with him but i hope he was doing OK. hope he fully recovers from the stabbing.
... (he lost a gf a few years ago)

anywhoo i think the world is not going crazy, or the ppl have gone mad. just have been some sad bits of news and tragedy to strike. i can only imagine what it was like during the times of the World Wars.

.

this world is going crazy
people are going mad
what isn't there to understand about driving on wet roads?
so many crashes this morning it was freaky
people dying just trying to get to work or school.....frik
i think this world is going to piecesssss
chris camilerie was stabbed last night and he is such a nice guy
absolutely cruel but i heard he's doing okay
still though....why are people careless with others' lives...i don't understand
or their own for that matter!
you take a plane ride and next thing you know you're crashing into a building
it all falls apart

my, my. i was just about to post the same thing, but you ppl beat me to it.
crazy timing (for both the star's decision to publish that article and for you ppl to post the same thing as me).

While you were sleeping - Toronto Star Article

I still seem to be losing posts

aw shit, not his mom too.
*deep breath*

>i had another post written which i wrote after galine's while nadine and rach had posted. it seems to have no posted. blogger seems to be doing that to me.

alex's mother is on life support...she might die
he beat her up really badly

this situation just sounds very scary

I have tears in my eyes.
and it's absolutely true, when you actually know the person it hits you so much harder.
makes you realize how uncertain life is. how a split second could change your life forever. when I'm faced with things like this it makes me look at my so-called "problems" and realize they just don't matter anymore. to "take life to it's fullest" is so true-we should all try to love a little more, live life better, enjoy who we are. stop focusing on the negative and reach for the positive.
yet at the same time a situation like this leaves me angry and frustrated. why alex? why so young? why, when he had so much to look forward to in life. i never knew him well, but he could always make everyone laugh, he was talented, and a great basketball player. and to say "there's a reason for this" what reason? I don't see any reason in sleep walking..punching your mother so hard that her jaw breaks..jumping from a staircase and bleeding to death. it's so surreal.
thinking about it just really makes me want to live my life to the fullest. be thankful for what I have: a great family, incredible friends, a boyfriend who loves me unconditionally....I just want you all to know how much you mean to me.

"i keep thinking about how random it all is" christina, how true that is.
love you all
cgal

aw, you don't know how good it feels when i hear that i've converted somebody to a new band or musical artist. :))
criss, they don't seem to be playing any shows in toronto anytime soon, but there's always the k-town show on oct. 5! i'm glad you like "this is live"--now go and get their self-titled major label debut off jive/electro and chart their musical progressions! it's funny, but it seems it took a little while for ppl to latch onto tND. after the show they played here last time, a lot of my friends here have been telling me that they want to see them now. ppl. you take too long. anyway, i think tkts will be about $12-15, but i'll let you know for sure tomorrow.

as for this week's tragedy, i'm trying to just accept it now. this crazy wave of paranoia came over me last nite; i can't explain it b/c it really isn't very logical, but...yeah. i should be alright, but i keep thinking about how random it all is. and how hard it's going to be for ppl who actually knew him well to deal w/ it.

"2nd week of business attire evaluation: hair looks too "last minute", and "We're working on the nails, right?". But my suit ensemble? Perfect-o. " No way, they do that!?!. eesh just flash them crassy *l*

oh yeah tND show is Oct 5th right in kingston. that sounds very good.

marc, if your reading this sorry about beer fest.
i just dont think i should be heading out til the weekend.

i hate job searching. i feel like doing anything else but doing that.

I've never heard of any story like this one, it's something you read in the Toronto Star, not something you hear about through friends who actually knew the guy. Almost all of what I was typing was a bit depressing and negative. Bad for the aura. The new gist is: it is Alex's time to live the better life, and that's it. All we can do is help the family and friends left with the pain caused by his absence and its bizarre situation.

So completely off the topic...I'm sorry, everything else is completely unrelated.

Chris---When and how much is the next tND show? I might have just latched on to another potential New Deal fan. And your music collection says a lot about you. In this case, yours communicates that you need help. lol, just kidding. Sorry. My analysis of your choice of music came out as a total contradictory explanation. I think you feel guilty for allowing yourself to wallow in sad music, but I think it acts as a means of therapy. Now does the means justify the end? I don't know, I think that might be a rhetorical q.

I don't know what spurred this, but for some reason a spontaneous, sincere excitement just came out of nowhere for the New Deal. I mean, I've liked them since the first time I saw them, but only now have I just clicked in to how cool and different they are. We need more New Deals in this place. I've been listening to This is Live since I came home from school, especially to Back Off and Glide. Two separate songs...er, there's Back Off and there's also Glide. Hehe...Back Off and Glide.

2nd week of business attire evaluation: hair looks too "last minute", and "We're working on the nails, right?". But my suit ensemble? Perfect-o.

**cameron deleted this post by accident on sep19th** sorry

fuck i can't sleep.
i programmed my cd player to play a bunch of songs to lull me to bed (i usually do this), but then i realized how morbid it was to listen to some of the songs i'd chosen, so now i'm playing freaking john mayer 'cause he's so neutral. i never realized how depressing most of my cd collection is until now.
i have a crazy classload today too.
why am i posting this?! am i crying for help or sympathy? why do _i_ need sympathy?!?

i can't remember much about it from first-year psyc anymore, so i found some stuff through google:
http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/bb/neuro/neuro99/web1/Howard.html
http://www.crescentlife.com/disorders/sleepwalking.htm
http://www.sleepdisorderchannel.net/sleepwalking/index.shtml (read the causes)

i think it was definitely sleepwalking.
it seems like a really rare chance that something like that could happen....i can't stop thinking about it though.

Like Cam did, I read the post this morning. Everything I wanted to say sounded so fake typed out, lol. It's been on my mind all day and it made me think about a lot of things in my life. And I never even really knew Alex, so even feeling so effected by the news is still a mystery to me. And so I thought about that, too.

That story really is bizarre and depressing. Seems so random to just choose Alex.

Take care, everyone.

stina, sure does
i hope they get there answers.
oh my i pray for that family.

fuck. i can't believe all this shit is happening. this is absolutely insane.
this is such a cliché, but it really does hit you more when you actually know who the person is.

nadine, can you find out what really happened?

yeah alex played football
apparently his head was swollen too
so maybe a problem with his brain?

not that i know much about the story, but the hand things sounds rather improbable

it's scary how people can just disappear at such a young age
germine died about a year ago too
scary

i don't know if he played for the football team, but i'm pretty sure he played for the basketball team at one time or another. he was in my gr. 10 science class.

i read nadines post this morning and im not to sure which alex this is.
was it the one that played on the football team?

not to add satire to it all but that's quite the bizare death. i remember the cafe doors having there windows punched out. shards of glass came flying across at me in the midle of cafe. Francis had also punched his hand through glass and had to get it bandaged up. i have found nothing of this case on the net.

...

oh my. i came on here just to post about jennifer lopez being pregnant w/ ben affleck's baby and about gavin & gwen getting hitched, but this is really sobering.
he punched a window?! it always hits so much harder when you know who the person is...i'm really getting sick of dealing w/ death all the time.

strange news...or maybe not so strange
Alex Anderson died yesterday....apparently he lost a lot of blood after punching a window
they're having services at Xavier

eww, what happened to nadine's and vonvon's post? did i screw something up? or did they or someone else delete them??

marc is right, she does look older. the 7up ad she looked like a teen and this she looks like she could be my bitch any day soon. ok looking at it more seriously she looks her age that was just my 1st impression as i scrolled over it.

a girl who i hadnt talked to in over a year just ICQd me. she had lost her on my icq list but the other day i was wondering how/why there was a "playful angle" on my list. newhoo after a 2 msg or so greet again i get a big limbering stretch for advice. i didnt wanna get into be mr. pychologist but she through the situation at me. she's in love with her boss who is a married man with 2 kids. so i pretty much straight up told her to go get some real help, advice, from ppl that can know or can hear out this situation and have experience with such cases. still my advice was being asked for and at heart i know its wrong to say fack off. maybe there was a reason she came to ask me for advice on it and not someone else =/. *sorry im side tracked with this bc im talking to her now*
to conclude; i advised her but more with the cut to the fricken point tone. ah it's testing and being online i have to time to write and delete, to pause and not say anything rude... but damnit she needs to hear the real truth. u cant dish something so cruel online bc u cant see there reaction and they dont know if its said out of anger or care. i guess i shouldnt be all bothered about this bc she lives in a far away place and likely she would rather not let the story hatch around her home. newhoo as u can see it takes up a lot of my thoughts anyways.

i forget what else i had to say but YorkFest... i dunno unmotivated to really party when i need to be finding a job. same feeling kinda goes for beerfest but it is guelph and fack! ttyl blogger

i don't think she looks that much older...
and i wasn't bashing her (why does everyone hate her so much?!)--i'm just in awe of the fact that her face seems to be plastered everywhere i go!

(=

"next time we go out, I'm grabbing the guy and telling him "look bitch, go dance with that hot woman..NOW!":)" -Cgal

Cgal, lol, it's so funny to twist your words around sometimes. Is "bitch" the guy or Rachel? *lol* Ok, so I thought that was funny. Btw, you tell them Wal-Mart asses! Make THEM stand in line while you do your shopping in the mean time and have them page you over their intercom when it's your turn, lol.

I was just about to say I would join Yorkfest but I'm going to the AGO for a "field trip" (as if no one's ever been there before...actually I've never been there before) at 6:30 pm. Maybe I can subway on over if that's even possible, which I'm pretty sure isn't since the subways are in TO... Ok, well there's still Beerfest?

Black beady little eyes? Aw, so cute. *lol*

"You two talk more than two whores at a picnic."

Who's friends are all gay, who's friends are all gay? lol, who put that up?

It'd be so funny if Paulina somehow came across our website and found a big ass mugshot of herself and all these strange ppl bashing her. Haha. Ok, well just me. And since I just said that I'm sure she's on her way to this site, as always the case is when I decide to gossip or bash...My life story.

Gah!...It's true!

i got a recording of tND @ pier54 in nyc yesterday as well, and the part where rahzel from the roots joins 'em really is pretty wicked.

that is all,
(=

btw, paulina stanek's mug is currently taking over the cover of shopper's drug mart's free beauty guide mag. i walked into shopper's today and i freaked out when her huge face was staring at me on a poster! :D damn, she must be rich now.

(=

okay. cam. that was you, wasn't it?! where the hell did you find that sound clip?!????? :D

so who is genuinely up for the tND show in k-town on oct. 5?? i've got a comfy sofabed! marc can attest to that.

and when the hell are they ever gonna fix this publishing business on here?!? i hate reading the posts this way.

(stina dont kill me)

Aw, Cgal I'd never give you cut eye! My photos to sum it up...It's like that episode of Full House (stop sighing), where Stephanie takes her yearbook photo and the camera freeze frames her sneezing? Do you guys remember that? I am so very very not photogenic. Cgal, I luv you---absolutely no cut eye!

I'm feeling bad now, like that time where I called Anthony "done" and he thought I said "dumb". :( Bad times, bad times.

RACH, congrads on your new hamster. maybe bc its a baby still and all i wish it life. it had a nice mother *l*

haha woah, i thought my political/911 post was long.
well i just put a text reader to read cgals post so i can carry on writting this one in the mean time.

when i came back to the retro room after partying in the main room it was all guys except for u circle of ladies in the middle. 1st reaction was WTF happened hear? haha. cgal, you stole the chatter with the coat check girl away from me. it's OK, bc its your bday and u offered to get her number for me and everything!
that was a lot of dancing... 4hrs staight!
i felt drunk, but wasnt. this was the 1st time where i didnt talk to any (new) girls there. fack, just guys talking to me

haha i watched the millionare host. all dressed in her lil suit and everything she says "paul was my favourite, but as u ladies know... you always remember your first". ummmm okay

who's going to yorkfest?
marc if i dont do yorkfest im pretty sure im in for beerfest. i like it.

unless some more ppl stop to talk to me. it seems that erindale has gone accepted fit blonds all the way this year. i dunno if thats good... im gone *l*

later peeps. i wont take up that much of your time after that cgal post =p. if u wanna do cheezy scanning of them tell me.

oh the laughs..the laughs..they're neverending!
Rachie, the guy who slapped my ass did have a goatee but no hat? He had black hair in that "bedhead" look, I think. Truthfully, the one thing I can remember about them was their STUPID laughs. Almost like it was from the movies, so goofy, "huck huck huck...gigggle...i slapped her ass" oh dear. Girl, when the guy was looking at you, you should have danced right up to him and asked him for his name;) next time we go out, I'm grabbing the guy and telling him "look bitch, go dance with that hot woman..NOW!":)

crissandra: that was too funny! it was pretty much US and the crazy drunken guys trying to join us. that guy with the red shirt was all over you! See though, we were just the hottest girls in the room, they all wanted a piece;) haha."you look-vvvvery pretty" bahahah! who was this guy?! that's so funny! you know what i should have done? had a 2nd camera to take pictures of all the crazy guys we encountered. that guy that is in the picture said "I can't wait 'til it turns out?" lol! we should have got his email address *if he could rememeber it!* and sent it to him for a reminder of just how drunk he really was. When I took out the camera, he threw his arm around me as if we were going to take a shot of ourselves. lol! wackkkyyy..

marc-you're great! it was all about the laughs and the dancing. and what you said was true, and it's funny, as soon as you joined us, every other guy turned their back and went their own way. lol. ///don't mess with marc! you're serious about not seeing all the pervs? i don't think you were in the retro room long enough!;)
**BAMP BAMP!**..thank you for the compliments:) I liked my hair until the end of the night when it dropped from all the heat. but thank you again, very sweet of you:) and whenever we get together again, i'll take that shot with you:) considering i've NEVER done one before! you can be my first *wink wink* haha

alright, i went out *bet you didn't know that;)** and I got the pictures developed!! **von, this is the stress i'm talking about!*
I get to walmart around 2:10, when the pictures were SUPPOSED to be ready by 2. keep this in mind. of course I arrive to a massive lineup that moves an inch per 5minutes.I already have no patience as it is, but this is really ticking me off. To top it off this elderly man is sent, alone, to the both where you drop off your pictures and fill out the info by yourself because he wanted to get posters made from his negatives. he is standing there absolutely confused with no help. so now I'm fuming because each and every employee in walmart is dressed in a vest which slogan reads "the customers matter most" or something along those lines. well if the customers truely did matter, there would be someone helping this man, who is trying to read through the signs which font is probably a size 12, extremely hard to see if you don't have great eyes.so I told him to go to the desk and ask for help because it's not right for him to try and understand what they want him to do. This is all probably 15 minutes into waiting. By the time I got to the counter, angry, flustered and ready to leave, I am told //after 5 minutes of searching// that my pictures are still in the machine. this is 2:45. I freaked. I don't know what came over me! I told the lady that I had to go somewhere, I was waiting for 45 minutes in a line expecting to recieve my pictures only to be told that i had to wait MORE! I demanded a discount. so after 10 more minutes of waiting I got my pictures, said I was NOT paying fullprice, and another lady came and only charged me for singles. //end rant.

if you read through that, good for you! hehe. i got the pictures, they are great! *although i look retarded in many* there is one pic of marc and me, he's laughing and I have this weird look on..haha...wonder what we were looking at. the one w/that guy who jumped in, it looks like his bottle is up crissandras nose!!! lol.and there is a picture of me dancing and crissandra looks like she's giving me cut eye. //sniffles;)// i'll give you all the negatives and you can make copies if you want:) //there's one pic w/the bartender in the background but you can't really see him *that lil'mssg goes out to rachie and von* lol

so i'm going to shut my mouth. breathe. and i love you all:)
xxx
cgal
(ps. why is nothing showing up on the main page? grrr..cameron, fix it fix it! lol)

i think it was the crazy drunk one? wait..that was ALL of them! -Cgal

Sooo true, lol.

Woo, Gay-leen! I'm glad you had an awesome time!

I know everyone's had their share of pervs, Cgal will agree, but Sat. night seemed abundantly high/drunk/perv-full. There's either tonnes or none. Do you guys (Cgal, Yvonne, Ro) remember when we were dancing in the middle and surrounding us were drunken guys that looked like they were ready to swoop in at any time? That was a little weird. Cgal said it was probably because we were the only girls in the room, which is what it looked like from within that circle, lol.

And that guy with the glasses' friend that grabbed me, (while I was mouthing "help me" to Cgal...who did help...thanks :) I found a little cute but was obviously very high or drunk. He somehow managed to keep on bumping in to me throughout the night and even said bye to me on his way out of the club while I rolled my eyes even though I didn't really mean it, lol, it felt so good. I figured he wouldn't notice, since he was drunk and all.

At the end of the night while we were all standing in the rain, a guy literally stumbled out, and almost fell, from the club, obviously very drunk and said/slurred to me "You-look...vvvery pretty.". So I said thank you and smiled. Hey, it's still a compliment. :) In the car, we decided that he was trying to say "You look pretty...Pretty ugly!" *lol*

Cgal, I wanna see that picture you took of the three of us and that guy that jumped in between us, lol, that was unbelievably funny. After you took it, he was just like "Yeahhh!!" and threw his arms up in the air holding his beer, saying other things like "Yeah, I can't wait til that one turns out!" He was so drunk, lol.

While Yvonne and I were sitting out, we met another person named Shane who was from New Brunswick. We decided he looked a bit like that guy from Malcolm in the Middle and a little bit of Moby. But NB is one of those places that don't really exist to me, it's like as if it's all pretend. I don't know, I couldn't really take him seriously. He was the only sober one in there besides us.

Rach, thanks for not paying attention to me, after I made us Roger Rabbit inconspicuously toward him, and after we slow danced *five feet apart*! lol, luv ya too hon. Btw, why don't you just go to the store, bring in your cage and ask them if you're doing it all wrong or if it's their fault for giving you a bad cage. Come on, "baron of simple solutions". :)

Wow, that was one cra-azy night.

This is a long post, too.

You guys are the funnest. :)

cgal, im verry glad u had a good time :)
after the night was for you!!

hehe i really had to think of who "criss" was

i love you -all-!
what an incredible and unforgetable night that was.from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. non-stop dancing and the fun was never-ending! there were so many highlights of the night that I'm not even sure where to begin!
the lineup where I said I would pimp my girlfriends-and the big security guard starts talking to me about becoming a pimp. it was a bit creepy . perhaps because he wasn't smiling. uhh..i wasn't serious! lol the music was fun, micheal jackson totally made my night. cameron, you can dance! damn, i'm going to take some lessons for you.

then there was that one guy that kept hitting on us *rosa, criss', von* and crissandra mouthing "help me" when he grabbed her!! his friend who constantly appologized becauser his friend was extremely drunk and stupid, that was sweet:) oh what else what else, there is so much to say! the most ridiculous thing that happened would probably be me walking alone in the hallway to have 2 guys run up behind me, one guy grabbing the other guys arm, and made him slap my ass while they giggled like children. I just turned around and gave them a look like "yeah, that was realllly mature". did they just turn 19? have they never drank alcohol before? I somehow doubt it!!
then there was the guy *i think it was the crazy drunk one? wait..that was ALL of them!* that jumped into the picture i took of von, criss' and ro. lol. that'll be a good one to see! It was sooo great to be with all of you, it wouldn't have been the same without you guys! you're truely the best of the best!

and want to know how clueless i can be? in the retro room, von and criss, remember how you laughed because you wanted them to play tainted love. i laughed, but never understood why it was -too- funny. then when i was in the main room with marc, the maryln manson version of tainted love came on and he bursted out laughing and went "BAMP BAMP!!" then it struck me...why you lil!!!! hahahahah! that would have been great to sing, you know, throwing in my glorious lyrics;)

theme of the night ::hooch it up!:: come on, wasn't i hooch enough for you rachel??;) you looked HOT woman! mmmm..rarr! hehe next time i'll be a major slut for you. you know, lower the shirt..all that. remember in line? i'm like "i can push up my boobs" and were grabbing them..while the 2 guys on the side just kind of watched. oops. hahahhaha

the fun was endless. seriously, so incredible. you all looked fantastic, and you all dance so well, and it was just SO MUCH FUN! i thank you all. last night was probably one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, birthdays i've EVER had! (oh yeah, and to top it off with the "happy birthday GAYleen!" by the dj. lol)

cam, i'm glad you liked my hair;) it was all for you.;) it's not so tough to do, i've become quite the pro' at it;)

well this is long enough so i'll stop now! once the pictures are developed i will do my best to find a scanner and put them all up online:)

I Love you all, thank you again

btw search on the net still result in our hullo blogspot page turning up.

oh and guess what, if u search for christina's full name and avoid the banker in hongkong u can find a trail on her too.
with a few various combinations into the search that u can toss in about specific things u know stina is obsessed about will help increase your results.
I found 6 of them. 2 of which she posted here b4.

there are 7 other web sites that i know she has made or has content of her on them that didnt turn up. *hush hush*

LOVE YOU ALL!!
XOXOXOXO
cgal leto. uhh, just cgal.

Hey, homeys.

What a long week.

I just finished reading "13" by Mary Lou Zeitoun, I think I started it last Thursday...Anyway, for me that's basically a record, except for my 3-day marathon of "Catcher in the Rye". That's what I hate about reading, it's too hard to put the fucking book DOWN. I needed to know how the story ended like an addict needed a hit. Scary times. But Zeitoun's coming to talk to my Arts class to talk and I guess autograph. Fuckin A!

Anypoo, Cgal, I think I'm pretty much set for Phoenix tomorrow night. :)

Christina, prepare for a pathetic story. Ok, I'll spare you. My only TIFF experiences consisted of calling the volunteer line to cancel my shifts. It was a bad mistake thinking I could fit in the TIFF on the first two weeks of school and also go to work on the same weekends I'd volunteer. It's so sad. And it's so funny, cause my class was just learning about Time Management.

Today Is Fucking Friday! Woohoo!

for a second i thought TIFF stood for Today is Fucking Friday *l*

marc, wish her for me. i dunno about heading out yet.

crissandra, i wanna hear some TIFF experience stories!!!

(=

i had a carpet cleaner come in today. what a nice guy. i told my mom to mail him a tip because i had no extra cash on me. and he's a leftie. *lefties unite!* -cgal

cgal this line also made me laugh... i think rach knows why.... oh gosh, u probally all do *l*

cgal me and liz are for sure.
as per the scanner, i do have one but its not hooked up. i have been doing the cheap scanning technique. film the image with a video camera and capture it with the computer. heck i wanna scan some old pixs of everyone.

nora, 9/11 tv is what some ppl still wanna hear about. i think the fear angle is milking it but that's the nature of most news storries.
i cant blame ppl for making some of the products but i wonder who the fuck would buy them. ie. post cards of the twin towers on fire.

rach, i might bug u about that later... but im bothering other places still.

robin williams was hulliarious on leno yesterday. pretty much bc he took over the show

hello everyone, yet again!
//nora-i hear you with those t-shirts. making profit over something so tragic is disgusting. i'm absolutely sick and tired of hearing about it over and over...as for the lottery i don't believe it.

alright martin streak has me + 6 guests on guestlists. i went to the phoenix's page and put joels name in with 7 people for guestlist. so i'm sure 13 spots is enough.

off until tonight!
g
(p.s does anyone have a scanner? camm i know you do...i need some pictures scanned!)

bahahaha! cam' i bet that video did stir up some anger in some. joel loved it! "i may not know much about cows" glad you liked that line:)

christina, that dream freaked me out! did you wake up scared? dear me what a wonderful job you had of disposing chopped up bodies. makes me hungry thinking about it *blegh*

so who's coming saturday?
cammie? marc? von? crissandra?...rach!?
so far it's joel/ro/jeff/liz(judd?). i emailed martin streak and i think that pretty much anyone who comes with me is on guestlist. whichever way you'll get in free regardless!

i had a carpet cleaner come in today. what a nice guy. i told my mom to mail him a tip because i had no extra cash on me. and he's a leftie. *lefties unite!*

i'm off to do nothing.
terrah!

xxx

i forgot to tell you guys about my last vivid dream!!
for some reason, i had these 3 (or was it 4?) chopped up bodies that were each wrapped up in little boxes, and i had to dispose of them. i think i was trying to get them to a crematorium (i really don't even know what one of these places looks like, but oh well), and there were all these distractions along the way...finally, i end up at this outdoor location that has fountains and grass and stuff everywhere, and i think this is the place where i'm supposed to get rid of the bodies, but i don't know why i don't end up burning them. maybe that's when i woke up...weiird!!
i think some of this dream was influenced by this movie called "morvern callar" that i watched at the film fest.

oh well, i'm off to bed.

marc watch CSI,
yeah i dunno i seem to be loured into a lot of the mass media material.

today was the 1st time i watched a full episode of CSI and i luved it. it sold a bit of sex and cool tech stuff but it is done with great intelligence. the complexity of the dectives reminds me of batman.

karen go to pub!

"i may not know much about cows"
i like this line :)

i have no 'beef' with vegans or vegatarians etc etc but this campaign by PETA i question?
maybe it's in response to the Baby Got A Tempar video =p.

well thinking about the issue more i remembered that forests our now being chopped down not for the lumber but make space for cows and to sell to NA's hunger for meat. that issue would be one environmentalist might make if true but not PETA.

i have a feeling PETA's trying to hurt the farming of cows industry. not because of the terrible account of how cows are milked... but bc those cows will likely be slaughtered in the end.
well this is the link from the PETA page on cows.

BE GOOD TO YOURSELF.

**side note, i do think PETA has done well and has won some worthy cases.

in response to you christina, what i have to say is
"too much of anything is no good". that statement is absolutely true. going to the extreme with anything is just...stupid. vegans make me laugh. that's just my view. maybe the way cows, or any animal for that matter, could be treated better. but to go to the extreme and tell people that drinking milk is "evil" and to "go drink beer" (if this ad is true) is just pointless and again I shall bring up the word STUPID!
Terrah:)
cgal

lol, if your seriously heading off to the pub...christina how could you? you're just confirming their statement that all queens students are drunks. ;)

hahaha--i'll let you know if they're serious or not when they start handing out free beer samples on campus. :D b/c apparently, us queen's students are a bunch of booze-crazy phreaks. ;P
cam, vegans don't drink milk. they don't use or consume anything that comes from an animal...i have no idea how they manage to do anything in life w/out extreme difficulty, but that's their choice. i guess they just don't think it's fair to the animal.
and i think we should actually research the whole cow's milk thing before we jump to conclusions. maybe PETA thinks cows shouldn't live in captivity? their milk can be drunk by their calves, right? i'm not saying this whole "drink beer" campaign is the greatest idea in the world, but maybe we're not that informed about how cows are treated either....

also--cam, the dears aren't really on a label anymore. did you go to the grenadine site or something? they got in a big fight w/ grenadine. i'm not taking sides.
and yes, jay was talking about the doves. haha. confusing, huh?

okay, well i'm heading off to the pub soon.
(=

i couldn't even read through that PETA article without laughing and i stopped reading halfway through. how stupid. i may not know much about cows but i thought milking them was a good thing. if you think about a mother who doesn't breastfeed her child-the unused milk dries up and causes pain. //i know that may sound disgusting to you males, but i'm just relating this to the cows and i'm sorry!// if a cow is not milked i'd assume it would become dried up and cause the cow much pain. i've heard this as well-it's not just a guess. "drink beer". let's all loose our braincells and get fat rather than drink milk which provides nutrition and strength. rigggght. are the actually serious?

stina, could jay have been talking about the doves?
i think that was it. i just DL a bunch of there stuff and so far it appears new to my ears.
kinda slow moving music, but moving.
the one post in there lables guess book direct to the dears.
"Give back the fuckin' bass. Seems obvious to me......How can you, in good conscience, hock someone elses instrument? And whats with the fuckin idiot who says "it serves you right, now you know how it feels" Perhaps we're not getting the full story here.....sound like some dirty laundry might be involved here? but for now, in my books, the DEARS are a bunch of knob-gobblin theives! cheers JJ PSsssss fuck Ska all over the world!

from JJ
12:50 am - Monday,July 15, 2002.... (on the 22nd he Jordan Swift concluded the story that they took Murray/The Dears to small claims court and were just trying to get there attention so the instrument or $ would head there way."

the story of the box... interesting. i dunno if its fast or not. does it take the convience out of a convience store or just the store employee?

as for got beer? im not a big fan of PETA. i think this campaign is playing more to youth being stupid then wise. either way i cant object to them using it as a avenue to sell there point. if a mother gives there baby beer to drink resulting in it's death i wonder if they could sue PETA or the University. It's unlikely that someone is that dumb but never underestimate ppls stupidity. i thought cows lived a descent life, i thought drinking milk was a nice thing to do for the animals.

oh gawd.

and i find this hilarious.

(=

allo.

crazy week.

cam--no, i think i told jay about the dears. it seems only me and about 10 other ppl in the world actually know who they are. you should've seen me trying to recruit someone to go on tuesday...
"come see the dears w/ me!!"
"the who...?!"
"forget it."

marc--the IME thing is on like a wednesday in oct. forget it. i think rach is just gonna go to the palais royale one now. so come see tND on oct. 5 (sat.)!

(=

Welcome back stina =o
so did u miss us that much? haha aww
didnt jay want u to see the dears? newhoo how was your exam or did u skip that point on purpose?
glad to hear that u sound like your on track with the prof on the 1st day *l*

rach i think your nuts not going for 1st pub. our pub was pretty dry but i dont regret going to any of them. i always had a good time too. you have a better chance of meeting ppl your age, with your interest, who lives in your area, with common ideas, and who arent that creepy at utm then any other public gathering.

********* the following is a long political msg. it stretchs from the current events to well me trying to make sense of the world and some general approachs. greatest challeng was trying to imagine world peace and how it could come. no u dont have to read it, or say if u agree or dissagree. looking back i might tear somethings apart myself. it aint the type of thing u come up with right away and i dont have the knowledge and wisdom to know the answers to questions that have been asked through out all time********
i think we can all agree bush is an idiot.
his speach 2nite upset me a few times. he said that the world sets out to america's ideals?
have a strong division of the rich and poor, have one of the highest incarcinaration systems, one of the most fat societies, a pop culture based around drugs/sex/violence/racism/$, be environmentaly irresponsible, have the biggest millitary budgets, a government full of coruption?????????
what crap! they have to explain how they are fighting for human rights and those that threaten them. so that's where i buy the freedom and justice bit.
cgal, u were saying war is not the answer and i have to disagree with you. do u believe WWII could have been solved peacefully? war has already been declared on the states by bin ladin and his terrorist cells. they must strike them bc no negotiations will end this. i dont think that can be much argued.
the harder point is what will be disscussed 2morrow and the days to come. what to do with iraq. if they dont let the UN inspectors in they have to attack. yes more children in that country will die and its going to be horrible. innocent ppl will die not really from the missed missiles but from the creation of large refugee camps with lack of shelter, food, securtiy, and medecine. heck its pretty much already in that state and its going to get worse. alternative let your enemies accumulate there weapons and hope they dont plan on striking u down with them. (i dont think the later is an option when dealing with Sadam)

cgal u are right about the use of the word "terrorism" and coverage as a ploy to put fear into ammericans. has Ed the sock even said it works as a great happy marriage between the guvernment and the media. the more fear sells more papers and storries while it pushs guvernment power and approval. "what good is the freedom of the press of they do not excerise that right"-ed. (he did a great speach). If i was an ammerican pollitian i would do the exact same thing. it's propoganda and it's the best way to win over your countries support. it's no fluke that this urgency to take on Iraq comes so close to this 1 yr anniversary.

"history will constantly repeat itself because we never learn from past mistakes"-cgal
thats a huge topic within itself (just like the other points). anyone else remember there sociology (or other ology) notes on weber?
weber had 4 types of rational action that ppl took based on value oriented goals. revolution came when ppl acted without value (there is your sept 11th and war). this entire process was webers "rationaliziation" archatype and cgal we can apply it almost everywhere. just like Tousingnant and Hamlet we can place this all over the palce.
The only way to stop revoloution is keep and share the entire same values. Bush says that's one of peace, freedom, and democracy.... but the values even in those freedoms will be challenged as a ballanace in security and rights is seeked.

It is an ideal to say we learn from history. bush has used history as his support for his arguments many times. he uses it to say why we must act now. acting now and taking this fight is the steps to make for a better society without that threat and to uphold the ideology of freedom. *looks at notes* it's Hegel's Dialected Ideal(ism)! perfect human freedom is the highest atainment (which to him was a communist society irronicly). so our countries are assumed to be the land of freedom and it sounds noble enough to protect. i think we have evolved to some degree and think of how long most of NA has gone without a real bloody mess on our streets. maybe we are not just running ourselves in circles in the rationaliziation process but elevating ourselves. still the only way there will be complete peace is when we can all agree to accept each others values. where differences occur let a rationaliziation process carry on but in the battle of a court not in violence. to a scale our justice does that with its flaws. between nations the UN does it. when your clients our funding that court and our more powerful then it a fair trial is hard to conduct and any verdict is shadowed. polcing such decisions is forceful again... did we acheive peace? was this conformity then plateau of freedom? on this world i believe it would be but i think plenty of obsitcals will make it a slow ride to such a positions everywhere or anywhere.

i have used this place as my response journal yet again. maybe its an old habbit from when i was kid but for whatever the reason...... it felt good to write to have some understandings.
